My Little Box: The subscription box for a little bit of everything

I have been wanting to subscribe to a monthly beauty subscription box for a while now. I just hadn’t come across one that I was ready to commit to. I like make-up and beauty goodies as much as the next girl. But I was hoping for something different every once in a while. So when I first heard about My Little Box, it just seemed to good to be true.

Parisian chic

My Little Box promises to bring you a ‘touch of Parisian chic’ each month, in the form of Cult French girl beauty and fashion products. Along with their exclusive in-house beauty brand ‘My Little Beauty’, you can expect goodies from their long list of partners such as:

  • Benefit
  • Ciaté
  • Essie
  • Garnier
  • Givenchy
  • L’Oréal and many more…

So what makes it different?

One of the unique selling points for me, is that they often include non-beauty items. Previous boxes have included various items such as cute winter socks, planner, sleep kit, jewellery dish, etc.

The addition of non-beauty items was the gamechanger for me. As much as I love beauty products, the surprise of discovering something a little different each month is the best thing about this subscription.

This month’s non-beauty surprise was this gorgeous ring accessory for your mobile phone. If you’re like me, and constantly at risk of dropping your precious phone due to reckless scrolling and tapping on Instagram or Twitter. Then this will be a lifesaver for you.

What else can you expect this month?

Firstly let me start off by saying that this month’s is in the theme of shades of pastel pink! Which if you follow my insta, you know is a reoccurring theme for me. This month’s subscription actually doubled up it’s packaging as a make-up bag and had some wonderful beauty treats inside including:

  • A make-up brush
  • Nude nail polish
  • Laura Mercier primer
  • Calvin Klein, Euphoria perfume (sample size)

My Little Box - Make-up Brush

Having just bought a new selection of make-up brushes, I think I’ll be saving this one for a giveaway on Twitter later this month, so look out for that! But the Laura Mercier primer is the standout product in my opinion. I recently discovered the magical powers of a good primer (I’m also currently in love with Showbox’s pore minimizer photo finish), but this one is also amazing! It gives a nice even finish without feeling greasy or like you’ve just filled your pores with cement.

The verdict?

My little box is definitely a subscription I plan on keeping. There’s also no obligation to commit for a certain period of time, as you can choose to cancel it at any time. This is also a key thing for me, as my spending may fluctuate and I may find myself needing to opt out of this month to month.

So if you’re looking for a beauty subscription with something a bit different, then My Little Box is for you. What about you, do you subscribe to any other boxes? Got a good one to recommend?

I love My Little Box so much- the mix of beauty products and homeware is perfect and it always seems so personalised. I love the themes and I get excited guessing from the instagram what is going to be included! I’ve not had a box since December as I subscribe on and off depending on the state of my bank balance, but it is the best treat from me to me! I’m glad to see you love it as much as I do!

Thanks Lisa, yes I know what you mean. I do love the flexibility of being able to unsubscribe at any time. And the goodies are great too!
