It’s only been 24 hours since this month’s pay has been credited into my account and I’ve already spent a good portion of it on shopping online! If you’re like me, you’ll be logged onto multiple shopping sites filling up your basket – only to get to checkout to realise you won’t be able to afford rent if you click buy!
So to get over the shopping bug I’ve put together my payday wish list, along with a couple of my recent purchases to recommend.
For the blog
Let’s face it, this is just a reason to buy nice things with the excuse being that “you need it for the blog”. One that my boyfriend is starting to see past… But in all seriousness, we all need cute accessories for that ever-important flatlay.
Something I also recommend for photography is a tripod. I talked about blog photography in my last post, and so I finally purchased a tripod. I got mine from Amazon and it’s very compact and light and only cost £14.99! And I’m sure this will come in extremely handy when it comes to taking photos for my blog.
For the home
Now that it’s officially spring time (despite the recent storms), I also wanted to highlight some adorable home accessories to brighten up any room. As you can see I’ve been inspired by Pantone’s colour of the year, which is perfect for spring!
For the wardrobe
And lastly, here are my top wardrobe picks to get you ready for spring. I’m currently obsessed with Nobody’s Child. I’m also obsessed with pastels and culottes! So here is a selection of my upcoming purchases.
I rarely need a personal excuse to buy new clothes, but if you’re like and you need to justify them to the boyfriend, I have you covered. Here is a list of my personal excuses justifications which include:
“But your mum has already seen me in this dress, how can I show up to her house in the same dress?”
“No I don’t have the same top in a different colour. That is a completely different cut, material and fit. This is totally different. Totally.”
“Yes I do need another pair of trainers. The other ones are my dress-down Friday trainers, these are my mid-week, suitable for client meeting trainers.”
And for when you JDGAF: “Too late. I already bought it.”
