Last weekend there was a brief (oh, ever so brief!) moment of Spring weather in London. I had planned to visit West London anyway, as I wanted to head over to the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum.
I didn’t have much else planned that day, except for ensuring I was in a pub somewhere to watch the Grand National – I didn’t win of course. Although a cheeky each way bet credited me with a winning total of £22. Ha!
History & Culture
I always feel quite nostalgic when I go to a museum as it just reminds of being on a school trip. Granted most school trips are just exciting as you get to be out in the big bad world on a school day, but its also nice to experience these as an adult. Not going to lie, I was very excited by the dinosaur exhibition at the Natural History Museum! It made me want to go home and watch Jurassic Park all over again.
The great thing about the museums is that they are all side by side. You have the V&A, Natural History and Science Museum all next to each other in South Kensington. Unfortunately didn’t get the time to visit the V&A, so am looking to do another trip down there soon.
I guess that is one of the perks of living in a city like London, there’s always something to do on the weekend…
